The community page is the page that you land on when you open Zircly. This page is where you interact with and keep up with your community. You can add posts, respond to polls, sign-up for events and so much more.

On the 'Community' section, you can:

Check-in and Checkout

The start-up page enables you to check-in and check-out for the day. Here is how you go about doing it:

  1. Opening Zircly brings you to the ‘Community’ page directly, but if you have to, navigate to the Community via this path:

    Navigation Menu > Community

  2. Under the cover photo, find the ‘Check-in/Checkout’ Button.

  3. Click on it to Check-in and Check-out, as you begin or end your work day respectively.

Recent Swipes

As you check-in and checkout everyday, Zircly records and stores the data on when you do so. To view your recent swipes, here is what you do:

  1. Navigate to the Community via this path:

    Navigation Menu > Community

  2. Under the cover photo, find the ‘View Recent Swipes’ Button.

  3. Clicking this button will show your recent swipes.

Posts

The sharing of your thoughts, opinions and experiences is done by putting up posts, like with any social platform.

Here’s how you put up a post:

  1. Navigate to the Community via this path:

    Navigation Menu > Community

  2. Under the cover photo, find the ‘Create Post’ Button.

  3. Click on it to open a dialogue box where you can start writing your post.

  4. With-in the dialogue box, you can customize your post further by adding photos or videos, and links, customizing the boldness and slant of your text, underlining your text and much more.

  5. Once you’ve written and customized your post, click on submit to publish.

Polls

Setting Up A Poll

Polls are a great way to understand everyone’s opinion on a topic, an idea or an initiative. Here is how you set-up a poll:

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu.

  2. Find the ‘Create Poll’ Button below your cover photo, right next to the search bar.

  3. Click on it and fill in the Title, Description, and add your options.

  4. If you would like to allow people to check multiple options, be sure to turn the ‘Allow Multiple Options’ Toggle.

  5. Don’t forget to customize your poll to either be anonymous or not.

  6. Click on 'Submit' to publish once you're done setting it up.

To Respond To A Poll

Although polls first turn up on your Community, newer posts and events can bury it under. Zircly helps overcome this problem by allowing you to view polls separately on the ‘Polls’ section. To view and vote on a Poll, here is what you do.

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu

  2. Find the ‘Polls’ Button below your cover photo, right next to the search bar.

  3. Scroll down to be view all the latest polls.

  4. Cast your vote, and you're done.

Events

Meet and socialize with your colleagues, both online and offline through events! To view upcoming events, here is what you do:

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu

  2. Find the ‘Events’ Button below your cover photo, right next to the search bar.

  3. Scroll down to be view all the latest events, and,

  4. Click on the post about the event to open it up on the side.

  5. If you would like to attend the event, respond accordingly, and you are done. Zircly will update your Google Calendar, if you link the two.

Update Your Profile

There are a number of reasons why you might want to update your profile. Maybe you took a new headshot, maybe you want to update your bio, maybe something else.

On Zircly, there are unfortunately a few restrictions on the updates you can make yourself, and the updates you will have to reach out to your HR Team for.

The updates you can make yourself include updating your profile photo, your bio, changing your password, and integrating google calendar and zoom. The following sections explain how to go about each of them.

Updating your Picture and Bio

If you would like to update your profile picture or bio, here's how you do it:

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu

  2. Find the Edit Button below your cover photo, in the same section as the check-in and recent swipes buttons.

  3. Alternatively, click on your profile picture on the top right corner on the Navigation Bar, and click on profile.

  4. To update your profile picture click on select image, and crop it so that your face is in the picture, and click on update.

  5. To update your bio, click on the field that says Bio, and start typing.

  6. Once done, click on update to save all changes.

Change Your Password

If you would like to change your password, here's how you do it:

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu.

  2. Find the ‘Edit’ Button below your cover photo, in the same section as the check-in and recent swipes buttons.

  3. Alternatively, click on your profile picture on the top right corner on the Navigation Bar, and click on profile.

  4. Find and click on the ‘Change Password Button.’

  5. Type in your old password, and enter your new password twice.

  6. Click on ‘Update Password’ and you’re all set.

Integrate Zoom

If you would like to integrate our zoom account with Zircly, here's how you do it:ii

  1. Head over to your Community via the Navigation Menu

  2. Find the ‘Edit’ Button below your cover photo, in the same section as the check-in and recent swipes buttons.

  3. Alternatively, click on your profile picture on the top right corner on the Top Bar, and click on profile.

  4. Find and click on the "Manage Zoom’ Button.

  5. Click on ‘Authorize Zoom’ or ‘Unauthorize Zoom’ depending on what you want, and you’re all set.
